Funeral Ministry Team


The Fellowship Team
provides opportunities to strengthen fellowship among congregation members and friends spiritually and socially. The Team sponsors regular fellowship activities for all ages, and works in conjunction with the programs of other teams and organizations of the congregation.



Funeral Ministry Team (Sub-Committee of Fellowship Ministry Team)
Members serve the needs of the bereaved families by preparing and serving refreshments or light meals on the day of a funeral. A volunteer chairperson and other volunteers set up the Fellowship Hall, prepare food, prepare flower arrangements, serve the funeral reception, and clean up at the end. One of the challenges of this volunteer service is the rapid timeline of preparing to serve even with short notice. We welcome you to volunteer for this important service to the Lord, and be a help and comfort to a family in grief.
