THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED WITH INFORMAITON ABOUT NEXT YEAR'S RETREATS SOMETIME THIS SUMMER. It is expected that the 7th/8th grade retreat will be in the fall and the 9th grade retreat will remain sometime in the spring.
7th/8th GRADE RETREAT



WHEN: Friday, March 12th- Sunday, March 14th.
WHERE: Camp Koronis, 15752 County Rd 181 Paynesville, MN 56362
COST: $80  If finances are tight, talk to Pastor Paul- money should never stop anyone from attending a retreat!

On Friday, the 12th please arrive at MLC by 6:15 PM to load bus (If your parent(s) can't get you here by then, talk to Pastor Paul or other kids in the group- we can find you a ride to the church).
We will return to church around 12:30 on Sunday.

WHAT TO BRING:
1) toiletries (towels, wash rags, soap, shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brush, etc.)
2) BIBLE!
3) Clean clothes for Saturday and Sunday
4) Outdoor clothes for walking/playing outside (weather permitting, we’ll do some group activities outside) We will also have access to an indoor gym for free time/group activities
5) SNACKS: We ask each student to bring a snack to share with the group
6) **Pillows and bed linens ARE PROVIDED by the retreat center, but kids are welcome to bring a sleeping bag if they desire.

A note about electronic devices: Though I do not go out of my way to hunt these things down, the point of getting away for a retreat is to indeed get away- get a break from the normal rhythm of life in order to get to better know fellow confirmation students and in order to have some space to grow in faith. If I see kids texting or talking on their cell phones or playing on iPods or other hand held electronics, I will confiscate them until the end of the retreat.

9th GRADE RETREAT



WHEN: Friday, April 16th-Sunday, April 18th
WHERE: Luther Park, 30376 Lakes Dr, Danburry, WI 54830
COST: $80 If finances are tight, talk to Pastor Paul- money should never stop anyone from attending a retreat!

We will meet at church at 5:45 and leave by 6:00. If you need help getting to church so early, talk to somone else in the group or to Pastor Paul and we'll figure out a way to get you here.
We will return around 2:30 on Sunday
